QRBarcode ("we", "us", or "this site") provides free QR code and barcode generator and scanner tools that run in your web browser. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information is and is not collected when you use this site. In short: we do not collect personal information about you, and the only third-party services integrated into this site are Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

Information We Do Not Collect

You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the QR Code Generator, Barcode Generator, or Scanner. We do not run forms that collect personal details, and we do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect it in the first place.

Content You Generate or Scan

The text, links, or values you type into the generators, and the codes you scan, are processed directly in your browser. To power the history feature on this site, that content (for example, the text encoded in a QR code, or the value of a scanned barcode) may be stored in our database along with a timestamp. This is done anonymously — it is not linked to your name, email, account, or any other personal identifier, because we don't have any of that information about you to begin with. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information (such as passwords, financial details, or government ID numbers) into the tools if you would prefer it not be stored.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site in aggregate — for example, which pages are most popular and roughly how much traffic the site receives. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device type, browser, and pages visited. This data is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense.
